Celebrating Local Authors and Artists

What? "Local resident and retired police detective Larry Cowley has authored his first book; Oakville’s Carole Bertuzzi Luciani is a public speaker and Canadian best-selling author — both, along with artist/author Christine Fenn, will be showcasing their work"

When? Saturday October 18/14

Where? Mohawk Inn (9230 Guelph Line Campbellville, ON) 

Why? Because culture matters. 


Community Day with Cineplex

What? Free movies with select concession items for $2. All proceeds go to support Free the Children.

When? Saturday October 18/14. Doors open at 8:30am. Shows start at 9:00am.

Where? Cineplex Movie Theatre (1175 Maple Ave Milton, ON)

Why? Because free movies are awesome but supporting Free the Children is even better. 


Halloween Spooktakular

What? "Celebrate the season in Spooktacular style; wear your costume and receive a free hot drink (parents and grandparents included)!  The main attraction this season is the Haunted Barn! The Mountsberg Play Barn is transformed into a deliciously creepy place to play and explore!"

When? Saturday October 18/14, 10:00am - 4:00pm

Where? Mountsberg (2259 Milburough Line Campbellville, ON)

Why? Because outdoor activities with hot chocolate sounds delightful. 


Harvest Festival

What? "Autumn entertainment including wagon rides, a giant corn trail, professional puppet show, spooky Boo Barn and the Fun Farm Yard."

When? Saturday and Sunday, 9am-5pm

Where? Springridge Farm (7256 Bell School Line Milton, ON)

Why? Because Springridge Farm offers great family-fun!


Season of Falling Leaves

What? Guided hikes, self-guided crafts, discovery hunts, videos, and unique gift shop. 

When? Saturday and Sunday, 10:00am - 4:00pm.

Where? Crawford Lake

Why? Because the fall colours are spectacular!


Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser

What? Community volunteers will hold a backyard pumpkin patch for the Milton District Hospital Foundation. Milton residents are invited to get their faces painted or purchase a pumpkin.

When? Sunday October 19/14 (12pm-2pm)

Where? 195 Bell St Milton, ON.

Why? Because it's Halloween time.


Celebrating Stories

What? Stories are read and children are greeted by Cinderella and a pirate as they arrive. Several presentations will take place including Splash’N Boots

When? Sunday October 19/14 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Where? Milton Public Library (1010 Main Street East Milton, ON)

Why? Because there's reading and Cinderella and a pirate.
